Construction To Begin On Summerhill At Meadowcrest This Month
Barrington Partners Still Offering Pre-Construction Pricing For Available Homes
Crystal River, FL -- Barrington Partners announced today the commencement of construction on its newest endeavor, Summerhill at Meadowcrest, later this month. The project, with 196 condos earmarked for construction, is a promising turning point for Citrus County amid the downturn in real estate projects throughout Florida. And for a limited time, Barrington Partners is offering interested buyers the option to purchase the remaining available homes at additional savings.
Driven by strong sales, especially over the last three months, Barrington Partners chose to extend its pre-construction pricing promotion until construction formally begins. Julian Hitchcock, VP of Barrington, believes that the reason for the recent success of Summerhill comes down to a simple principle. “The market will always be there for quality housing at a fair price,” stated Hitchcock.
According to Barrington Partners, the new homes will have two or three bedrooms and range in size from 1,185 square feet to 1,594 square feet covering one or two floors. All buildings will be equipped with elevators and will be built to meet Florida’s most recent, stringent building codes. Amenities accessible to Meadowcrest residents include lakes and trails to a state-of-the-art fitness center to a sparkling pool with poolside cabana.
Construction for the first phase of Summerhill is expected to be completed by February 2008 with initial move-in dates set for April 2008.

A Jacksonville Beach company plans to begin construction in the next few weeks on a 196-unit condominium and townhouse projects in Meadowcrest.
Summerhill at Meadowcrest will feature units ranging in price from $181,900 for a 1,200-square-foot unit to $229,900 for 1,600 square feet, project manager Julian Hitchcock said.

11 businesses share honors in 14 categories

There's no swimsuit or evening-gown portion of the competition, but winners of a recent Brevard County beauty contest are stunners nonetheless.
Eleven Brevard County businesses earned accolades for construction and landscaping efforts as part of the Building a More Beautiful Brevard contest, sponsored by Keep Brevard Beautiful and FLORIDA TODAY. Three of the 11 won in two categories.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the contest, which honors businesses and government agencies that make Brevard a more beautiful place.
