About Us

Mr. Hanan has over thirty years of real estate experience with responsibilities for the acquisition, development, and management of a broad range of office, residential, retail, and hotel projects with individual project values in excess of $100 million. He has hands on development experience with high rise office buildings as well as multi-family residential development, and has had management responsibilities for several thousand apartment units. He has worked for noted international development firms such as Hines Interests and Jones Lang LaSalle. Over the past 15 years, Mr. Hanan has enjoyed much success developing numerous projects on his own.

Mr. Hanan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina (Morehead Scholar) and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago. He holds the CPM designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management.

Mr. Hitchcock has a wide range of managerial, marketing, and business development experience. Before joining Barrington Group, Mr. Hitchcock worked as a commercial real estate broker and consultant in Manhattan with The Kamenitzer Real Estate Group. Prior to that, he worked for several years with international hoteliers Ian Schrager and The Morgan’s Hotel Group with their management team opening new properties in San Francisco and New York City.

Mr. Hitchcock graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing. He is a Licensed Real Estate Salesman, State of New York.

Ms. Hammock has over twenty years experience as a full time bookkeeper/accountant. She spent many years in office accounting for the accounting firm Deloitte, Haskins and Sills, as well as for the Jacksonville Shipyards. Ms. Hammock has been responsible for keeping the books for all of Barrington Group’s projects to date, as well as doing all of the company’s accounting and bookkeeping.
